A pin-tipped organ player dives into the music coming from his instrument and dances awkwardly across a blank space. From the lines designed by his choreography, tall houses are born where their inhabitants in a domino effect interconnect and seek to fulfill themselves.

On a hot August afternoon, the family gathers around the table. The memories of each one cross to remember the story of Uncle Button. From the dictatorship to emigration to France, where he worked as a garbage man, and when he returned to Belmonte in a van full of “garbage” that he turned into a real treasure.

Both hide traits that they believe make them weak. Their special flaws... A chance encounter, or rather a collision, and their "masks" come off, and they realize they make a perfect match.

 After a strange and mysterious event, Grão is born in the garden, emerged from the earth, as if it were a plant. For Razina it is a boy, and the child is so educated. For 17 years Grain grows, stuck to the vegetable garden. One day, Grao, already an adult, leaves the earth and discovers his body. Is he able to find inner peace by sharing a biological gender that does not correspond to his identity?

​A harsh winter freezes the surface of a river near the house where two cousins live. Thaddeus, the shepherd of an ox who brings him sustenance, and Emídio, incapable and dependent. Wrapped in the icy wind that rises that day, the roughness of the relationship between the two grows, reaching the limit. On the hard surface of the river, Thaddeus is challenged to choose to save the ox, or the cousin who hinders it.

A trite, discreet man goes to his usual coffee shop after work to kill time. For years on end his life has been this way – home, work, coffee shop, home. Through the coffee shop window, while smoking endless cigarettes, he watches people passing by, customers come and go. Life is nothing but a simple play of anonymous and meaningless everyday.
